Agree w/some on this board. CPB could be on it's last few breaths...i pray not. That said, I am not sure the FDIC/Regulators want a BOH or FHB acquisition. A local bank takeover bascally shuts out competition. Have you seen the deposit rates lately? There won't be a deposit RATE. It would just be deposits.
