Nice out-performance from BKCC the last two days despite broad weakness in the overall financial sector. The stock is still quite cheap so it should rise to, and perhaps through, $8. Earnings will be reported next Thursday, 11/5, and I am anticipating a good quarter from quality BDCs, including BKCC, due to the 9% increase in the LSTA Loan index from 6/30 - 9/30.

We should see a nice boost to NAV and perhaps an increase in the dividend (or a special dividend). The only negative here is the continued liquidation by GE Pension Trust -- perhaps they will let the stock rally on strong earnings before they further liquidate?? FD: I'm long BKCC with offsetting shorts (long SEF, short AINV).
