Well, here we are again.

In spite of the so-so volume, the mkt certainly has ambition.

As much as I dislike it, the DOW has bounced yet again off the 50DMA and seems to be pushing higher almost on auto-pilot.

Tomorrow, no doubt, the jobless rate will be viewed as a good thing, whatever the number (unless its a stunner).

How's this for a headline:

"Unemployment hits 10% in an improving jobs market!"

Having rallied about 56% off the March lows, the mkt doesn't seem satisfied and has that relentless feel about it.

Other than the pretty big bunch of longs I currently have, the problem is, I have no idea what to buy from an investment perspective.

The S&P, OTOH, doesn't look as robust and seems a bit entangled with the 50DMA. Shoving 500 stocks around is a tad more onerous than just 30 I suppose.

And the broken up trend line remains resistance, at least still today. (Dow is still below his too, but seems to be gnawing away at it.)

Tomorrow should tell us a lot -- gulp -- and I'll be glad when this week is behind. It will have been a data heavy 5 days, but the good thing is Mr Market has a very short attention span, and he will quickly forget that which is not in front of his nose.
