If you look at Danaher's history when John Stroup held his rein, early 2000's, you will be able to see BDC's fate.Stroups troops are accounting/#'s people and have no interest in the products they sell, employees, customers, vendors, quality etc.

More lay offs are happening since their announcement in December. Manufacturing facilities are slipping on deliveries & quality issues are arising due to replacing product/industry experienced employees with cheaper inexperienced labor. Too many cuts in personnel, so existing employees are expected to increase responsibilities and are unable to handle workload.

Any chance of long term increased earnings is unattainable. How will management be able to quickly find qualified and experienced people to fill positions if business were to increase?

Though there are continued lay offs, the accounting department seems to be growing. Accounting is what runs the company, not engineering and manufacturing personnel with product knowledge.

They love reports! So much time is spent on the creation of a report, gathering info for the report, data input, distribution and archiving the report. Reports are created, performance indicators are created and are monitored with more reports. Employees change actual data to make their reports look good!

If they put the amount of time & energy into manufacturing a quality product and on time delivery they might be a more stable company!

Industry names known for their product quality and good reputation are losing their customers/industry confidence.

Intercompany sales are not accounted for? This is a way for Stroup to cook the books to make another report look good.

It is amazing that established profitable companies are dissolving under the BDC/Stoup rein and no one is questioned or held accountable?

It will be interesting to see how BDC stocks will be performing in 2011, when John Stroup's contract ends and he will be moving on to his next victim?
