BV's business is MUCH worse than even I thought. Check out the most recent 10Q and BV's race to zero:

Look at the trailing four quarters of BV's unearned revenues and deferred maintenance:

2008 Q4 unearned $5.8M deferred $9.0M
2009 Q1 unearned $4.5M deferred $8.2M
2009 Q2 unearned $3.1M deferred $7.5M
2009 Q3 unearned $1.8M deferred $5.9M

The COLLAPSE is SPECTACULAR!! Unearned revenues and deferred maintenance is down nearly 50% in 4 quarters. We could see BV operating losses as soon as this quarter. In Q3, BV had operating earnings of only $557K. A small sneeze by a goat in Indonesia and BVSN could trade well below cash-liabilities.

Much more incisive than the warmed over, chewed up and spit out, garbage found on BV's website. SuccessFactors completed a $215M secondary, running circles around BV. Three ESN startups received additional funding, two within a few miles of BV.
