I have taken a recent position on this pullback from $5.50 just two weeks ago to where it is now in the $3.75 to $4.00 range. I know things are not what they were in '04 and '05, but BXC is worth more than a market cap of $120 million or so. I see it getting back to the mid $4 range and fluctuating between $4.50 and $5.50 for a while after that.

Here is what I am hearing from industry contacts:

*"we are hiring some sales support again both in outside and inside sales positions"

*"sales are steady, but of course not what they were a few years back, and we will take steady any day of the week"

*"companies that did a good job of lowering costs and overhead to meet our current demand situation should show break-even or even some profit this quarter and going forward"

*"trucks are becoming much easier to fill"

*"customers inventory turns are starting to improve so they are now more consistent as well"

*"we have been placing regular in-bound carloads of material, which we have not done for almost two years"
