The deadline is Oct 16 to decide whether to get cash or shares but interestingly the price of shares will not be determined until Oct 21. Isn't that a bit odd? You're buying something at an unknown price. I guess no matter what, the company's fundamentals do not change if you think about it. Price will determine how many shares they issue but the number of shares issued will not impact the company's cash position or fundamentals at all.
