Looks like Buffett is trying as hard as he can to make my long standing predictions about him come about. He is clearly positioning himself for massive inflation and hoping that BNI's debt will get inflated away leaving only a very important transportation infrastructure which maintains its pricing power. This is the equivalent of retail investors paying top dollar for a farm in the suburbs and then buying a bunch of farm equipment on credit in case the dollar meets hyperinflation.
