Why Buffet Bought BNI.      3-Nov-09 04:23 pm
I'll explain, since everyone on this board is completely clueless.

Buffett is buying the railroad a tangible asset to escape the imminent US Dollar collapse. Buffett obviously knows that something is about to happen in the Middle East, which will drive oil prices sky high and end the dollar. Buffet had no choice, but to unload dollars as fast as possible and what else was worth sinking $34 billion into.

All types of goods and commodities will be moved by rail while oil is hitting all time highs. BNI could become a $200 stock very quickly, so Warren actually bought for a 50% discount.

Here is more information on the state of the US Dollar.
