Has the USD bottomed as compared to CAD? Of course, no one really knows the answer, other than a speculator. Yet, for me an interesting chart.

Seems as thought NYC CRE is fairly status quo.

Interesting quote by Doug Linde of BXP today, "Our sense is that the prevailing thinking of financial institutions is that, if they are able to either kick the can or extend and pretend -- call it what you want -- it is much preferred to having to have a loan go nonperforming and end up on the bank's books, resulting in a write down. With LIBOR at 25 basis points, financial institutions can even increase the interest rates and their net margin while still keeping performing loans as performing assets."
