Why is the public option so scary? Forget which party you support. Do you understand that the path the country is on (started long before Obama) is unsustainable. A major change needs to be made to medical costs. REGULATION and a public option will put a cap on the increase. With little regulation, eventually the powerful become too powerful and run away with the system. That appears to be what has happened in the Health Insurance and Medical industry.
