I'm not sure why he is such a point of conversation on this board. As he is, I would think that everyone should love what he's done so far. January he came into office with BAC at around $6 and the economy tanking. We have since seen this stock go up to ~$19, a dramatic increase from its low. As I purchased most of my shares at ~$3ish, I'm pretty happy man. With the mergers, BAC is in a position to be a very powerful and profitable bank. I am looking forward to the day that this thing is providing me with a $2-$3 annual dividend.

No one is talking about depression now and most people think we are in a recovery, be it a slow one.

I hope that he can push through health coverage for everyone as well as put some light regulations onto the financial services industry. If he can, we will all be the better for it. As I am in hospital administration, I experience first hand the incredible amount of money that is written off because people either can't get or don't have health insurance.

If you don't like him because your a racist, well then I feel sorry for you. If you don't like him because you think he wants big government, well you may be able to justify this position based on his actions to date. I would argue that initiating a stimulus package was the right thing to due considering the circumstances. BACs stock price demonstrates that it may have worked.. If your someone who bought BAC at $19, well I wouldn't worry about it, it will go back up eventually. Take it as a good lesson that buying a large chunk of stock at its recent high on low volume is not a smart thing to do.
