You are right in some respects. However, remember prior to the reverse split, which happened about a year ago, the stock price was less than 3 dollars a share. Without the split that should mean a price today near $12.00 rather than $9.50. The split occurred at a time when the economy was in the tank. Without the reverse split that would mean a stock price today of little over 2 dollars and the economy has improved substantially since the split. Recently some chip companies have also been upgraded so you would think AMCC should be doing better than it was at the time of the reverse split when the economy was tanking. But the stock price doesn't seem to support an improvement in its'fundamentals since the price has not recovered with an improving economy.
