I wouldn't be worried about inside information. Anybody in Alaska that follows ACS and GCI already knew that ACS waslosing wireless customers. They already know that ACS failed to take Netowrk Access customers from GCI like they thought they would be able to do because of Akorn. GCI did get hurt a little bit because of Akorn, they were forced to lower pricing on their big contract to keep their customers, and they did signing long term contract at lower pricing. While that is not good for GCI it is even worse for ACS who was banking on taking those customers.

Landline is obviously dying. ACS does have the most realiable coverage in Anchorage for Wireless but they are bleeding wireless customers to GCI. I don't know why because like I said ACS cell service in Anchorage at least is higher quality. The one thing that might be the reason is the buildout into rural Alaska. There are a LOT of people in the bigger cities that travel to the rural villages, so they might be dumping their ACS phones for GCI phones now that GCI has coverage in abnout 100 villages that nobody else does, and they are still building mroe while nobody else is. That's the only reason I can think of for the wireless side.

Network services like I said ACS is getting killed on that.

Consumer internet services, well GCI is cheaper, faster, and more coverage areas so the DSL vs cable modem situation is a given.

Frankly I don't think anyone in Alaska is surprised here at all by the stock price or financial results. However if you are in the lower 48 you don't have the same view of these companies since all you can really do is read about them and don't know whats going on on the ground.
