I guess it is a good thing that they didn't become part of Analogic. Look what happened to Copley Controls. Analogic couldn't make gradient coil amplifiers anymore because they 'downsized' the design engineers so they bought their competition. Last week they fired most all the technical people there as well. There is also a company that was supposed to make PET scanners that they had been supporting. They fired everyone there as well. Fire, fire, fire, ... the new Analogic way!
