Analogic down after Stifel Nicolaus downgrade.
NEW YORK - Analogic Corp. shares stumbled Wednesday after Stifel Nicolaus & Co. downgraded the imaging equipment maker, raising concerns that sales could remain weak for longer than expected.

Shares fell $2.82, or 7 percent, to $37.32 in afternoon trading.

Stifel Nicolaus analyst Stephen Levenson cut the Peabody, Mass.-based company's rating Wednesday to "Hold" from "Buy" in a note to clients.
We believe the company has a strong balance sheet and a significant cash balance," he said, "but revenue has generally been lower than consensus expectations."
