Alex is 3 companies a shipping co, a reit and a land development co. It is clearly worth more as a sum of the parts than current mkt value tho the discount has narrowed significantly in the last months. Mgmt. generates reported earnings through selling properties acquired years ago with low historic cost this adds little intrynsic value IMO. The co should be split up as there exists little benefit for the current structure to remain.
