It is now known, after being out of office, that President Bush and Vice President Cheney wrote private letters to every fallen soldier's family. It is also now more recently known that President Bush frequently visited Dover AFB for the fallen soldiers and their families. This was done in private, with no cameras, and no announcements.

So what does President Obama do? Go to Dover AFB, and asks 18 families, of whom one agrees to have photographs taken.

It's pretty easy to figure out whose more dignified.
