I have looked into this a little. The property ownership is perhaps somewhat complicated by the fact that its jointly owned with former sister coy, Belo Corp (BLC).
Not sure if all is jointly owned. The Belo building sits in the middle of an area of small parks/plaza and a car park, all owned by the company. There is a larger complex nearby which houses the TV biz. I have not reviewed other coy sites near Dallas. Overall I feel they should be encouraged to sell surplus land and buildings, which up until now they perhaps haven't done.
