To keep it simple, I have posted about the year to date information, You are confused again. This statement oy yoursm howya, is wrong.
"THEY DON'T TAKE A LOSS ON THE WHOLE THING EVERY QUARTER !!!!!!!" Yes they do but they adjust, in each quarter for the gain or loss taken in prior quarters. Each quarters result is based on the the entire amount of the hedge, not just what was due that quarter. The adjustment of subtracting the results for prior quarters keeps each quarters results independent of prior quarters but in no way eliminates the calculation based on the entire remaining balance of the hedge. If you still don't understand this look at the 6 months to date, the nine months to date and the year to date at the end of the year. Rating :
