I agree to extent about schools and such...blah blah blah....our competitors are going through the same stuff. Stuff like this we cant control we just work around. Commercial is our focus. We need to get national accounts?? What are our competitors doing we arent. We have a national account that buys from let use AZ , they must buy from AZ because of contracts. The account would rather buy from aap because we are quicker and have the brands...wagner, monroe , moog. You know what Im saying. All the real shops buy these. Most mom and pop shops will buy what will bring the customers back time and time again for the same repair...cheap parts. OK MY QUESTION...TO ALL THE UPPER MANAGEMENT. MOST OF THE NATIONAL ACCOUNTS LIKE OUR PARTS AND OUR SERVICE....WHY DONT THEY BUY...IS IT A CONTRACT WE CAN GIVE TO THEM....??? DID WE TRY...WE ARE GETTING BEAT OUT WHEN WE KNOW AZ MUST BUY NAME BRANDS FROM SOMEONE ELSE. THEY WONT BUY IT FROM US AND RESALE IT...SO WHAT ARE WE DOING TO GET THIS BUSINESS??
To our commercial heads....you put a paper plan together with paper numbers and still cant get it right...if it not the hours from mpt or the weekly targets that are out of wack its our direction. Does anyone in our upper management know field level procedures and how to achieve them or is it only just "let set a number a goal and better achieve em...is this a SMART goal. CAMS are a joke so far...they dont know the business or they are choosing what store they like the best. Its even political when we try to get the business to the stores.....
