As you have said, Akeena has a very dead board. No one here is bashing the company to lower the price to accumulate shares, we do it because it’s fun in a bananas type of way. Granted some people do it in an ill manner, but I try to keep it factual and light in a Dilbert sort of way.

So here’s some more facts; I was reading Real Goods Solar’s last earnings report and was amazed that their Q3 operating expenses were less than Akeena’s when they had TRIPLE the revenue - Real Goods Solar had $22.966 mil in revenue compared to Akeena’s $7.671 mil.

Real Goods Solar operating expenses were $4.756 mil compared to Akeena’s $5.073 mil.

Real Goods Solar has 175 employees, Akeena around 135.

Real Goods Solar had a profit of $158,000, Akeena lost $2.404 mil (The operation lost was $3.177 mil).

So I will forgo my standard sign off of “Let The Buyer Beware!” and just say, “Buy low sell high, but don’t buy low, then lower and lower . . . . until you can’t buy a pack of tissues to wipe the cow poop from your eyes.
