Results for the Third Quarter of 2009

Total revenue for the third quarter of 2009 was $36.3 million, compared to $28.4 million in the third quarter of last year and $32.9 million in the second quarter of 2009. Net income for the third quarter of 2009 was $3.6 million, or $0.06 per share on a diluted basis, compared to $2.0 million, or $0.03 per share on a diluted basis, in the same period last year, and $1.7 million, or $0.03 per share on a diluted basis, in the second quarter of 2009. Net income on a non-GAAP1 basis for the third quarter of 2009 was $5.7 million, or $0.09 per share on a diluted basis, compared to $3.4 million, or $0.05 per share on a diluted basis, in the same period last year, and $4.5 million, or $0.07 per share on a diluted basis, in the second quarter of 2009. Non-GAAP net income1 differs from GAAP net income in the third quarter of 2009 as it excludes stock-based compensation expense and amortization of acquired intangible assets, all net of tax, of $2.1 million, or approximately $0.03 per share. Non-GAAP net income1 differs from GAAP net income in the third quarter of 2008 as it excludes stock-based compensation expense, net of tax, of $1.4 million, or approximately $0.02 per share.
