Yes, ADSK could easily go over $30/share on the "hope" of a turnaround. At some point soon, this stock will be a juicy short, but not quite yet. When is the next quarterly report due? The next report should be around end of November-ish. At that point there will be little doubt that ADSK's collapsing license sales are not a temporary aberattion.

ADSK socked away a good chunk of cash during good times, but they've pissd most of it away with overpriced aquisitions (Moldflow $300 million, Robot, Algor, Revit etc). Furthermore, their core markets in building architecture and design and small/medium size manufacturing are in a meltdown. Stupid and wasteful for ADSK to overpay for these acquisitions by such a large amount relative to benefits, and very telling that ADSK has to consistently go outside to aquire innovative products instead of developing new innovations in-house.
