AEP is the best utility trading at a forward looking PE of less than 10 . US economy is improving and AEP's profit will go up at least by 20% next year .Cap trade i think this is not a worry for AEP .Coal is here to stay for another 50 years .The new technology of Carbpon capture is working well at AEP and hopefully thar will get approval from the congress and also approx 700 million in stimulus to implement carbon capturing .They can and also will pass on the higher cost to customers.
