Earnings per share 2008 = roughly $142 million.
Top 6 earners at the company paid about $50 million.
That's about 10 times too much in my mind.
If they earned on the average $900,000 per year, that would not be generous? Are you kidding me?
If anyone wants to say they are being paid commensurately with other management of their peer companies, my response is they are all being paid at least 10 times too much.
There is no proportionality here.
I vote to throw management and the Board of Directors out on their obscene compensation alone. It is more than enough reason, in my opinion. See page 29 below:
