Aspen this evening reported fully-diluted operating EPS of $1.40 per share. This was much better than Wall Street expectations. Moreover, diluted book value per share was $33.07 at the end of the period. Consequently, the stock is trading at something like a 20% discount to BVPS, which I believe is conservatively stated. I would expect the share price to move up from now to year-end.
