The problem with this stock is that it has 95% institutional ownership. How is that bad you might ask? Institutions are not hedge funds, they don't start a position and end a position abruptly, they don't buy and hold for a day, they are making purchases on long term company/industry viability and outlook. That being said, the only shares available on the market are the 5% not held, or about 1.4 million shares. The rest being traded are the 9 million or so that have been sold short, shares that have been borrowed, this sets up for allowing small players in the industry to manipulate prices and cause wild unpredictable swings in price with no real reason. All we can hope is that these shorties are playing on margin and it gets called in, they would be squeeling like little piggies having to pony up all that coin to cover those borrowed positions.
