My guess is that these guys took the time to reload with stock options at the bottom, they cut their retention/change of control deals, and then they bailed. If it was a profolio company that tried to do this, they would all scream about fiduciary responsibilities to Allied, about NEVER letting management reload on options on the way down, and on NEVER topping up retention bonuses when things are bad. The same rules do not apply to themselves.

This team is a FAILURE (except John Scheurer who seems to be really straight and strong), and to let them score big personally on the back of shareholders should be a crime and is certainly a shameful act. Maybe not a legal crime, but this certainly merits US Attorney consideration. If a insider group that cuts their own deal as they think about selling the company and creating a triggering act is not technically insider trading, then I wish that the law would be changed to protect shareholders in the future.

Let's see how this plays out. My bet - these management guys score and we shareholders take the long ride.
