I have started a little due diligence for this stock, the dividend yield in attracting me.

Two questions- I see a statament in the quarterly they have a lot of goodwill on the balance sheet form the acquisition by RWE and may have to write more off in 2010, but a non cash charge- it should not hurt anything?

Also RWE is selling its holding in AWK, but AWK is issuing more stock. So if you are thinking of taking a position (Realizing I just missed the dividend) any reason to jump in now or wait till RWE has sold off its stake.
