Having an institution own very heavily can play both ways?

Have the same situation with my energy ticker BQI and Aletheia ownership in it. If they want that much, it makes you feel better, but they can also do damage to you if they change their minds!

Same thing with my ticker CLF. Another institution had so much ownership, they tried to scuttle a merger, and then dumped out when they didn't get their way. Kind of created their own concerns over the combination! The deal blew up!

Of course I bought when they dumped out of CLF and the PPS tanked-later it rose again some-that worked for me in the end, but I should have made more off the buyout and didn't.
