One of my children was recently operated on... his 3rd time through open heart surgery. He received the ATS 3f, and a Dacron replacement for his aorta, replacing a St. Judes mechanical valve and a dissected aorta. I believe this is known as the Bental procedure. I have done some preliminary work on this stock and I think it shows tremendous promise. The financials are a bit less than I usually like to see, but it's products are extremely well thought of. The new studies, being done on a younger population are interesting, because most repeat patients understand that this will not be their final surgery and the prospect of trans catheter replacement of a valve as opposed to open heart surgery is very attractive. I need to research some more, but I think even if this does not make it as a stand alone company, their technology would be of interest to an Edwards Lifesciences or similar type company.
