Yes,MCHP is top rung. Best in Class etc. Thus the 7 to 1 pps difference. Someday Atmel will get near the middle rung. IMHO. But all the microcontroller companies are reporting double digit sales increases and exceptionally good guidance.
Hope they do announce something about ASIC division. GLTA Rating :
