So, as we all sit and watch a stock price that is not doing much, it's easy and quite expected for the brainless trust running our company to say it's about the economy. Likely true in some respects but frankly it seems to be more due to the OS purchase and the lack of seeing any real added profits to our bottom line. Reducing people assets is a quick fix to reduce expenses, but when those laid off individuals leave, so goes their years of experience and the value they brought to us. How do you replace lost knowledge? Frankly, laying off more ABM people rather than OS people is all a game of smoke and mirrors.
Most NorCal branches are suffering/under performing because of lack of direction and lack of interest from the Ivory Tower. Salaries and bonus' are frozen, but take a peek at the insider trading to see who is getting money by going around the mountain of wage increases. The Board of Directors, the famous GAGA group, continues to recieve shares of stock, and just as quickly they cash them in. Their vested interest is in securing and cashing in these "grants" not in the performance of our company or the individuals that make up our company. No money for increases or payment of bonus' but plenty of money for regional trips, golf outings and padding of expense accounts. Where are the auditors? More lay offs announced today, synergies? Haaaa, come on. It's about popularity and CYA. This ABM is in crisis and without leadership that understands what is done on the front line, this ABM will continue to suffer rather than lead the inustry. We're followers now, lemmings headed towards the cliff. Was a time when I was proud to be here, now it's out of necessity. My turn may be coming up soon as lay offs get closer and closer each day to my office. I've watched many a good co worker be told their position is being eliminated only to see the position refilled a month later at a lower base of pay. ABM, not the leader anymore. Where will it all end? In litigation I'm sure. Rating :
