Dan, it's not complaining - it's trying to cut through the BS about rapid prototyping. I don't have a conflict of interest like you do(National RP Support?) - I just have to make 3D gizmos - so I pick the best technology. Based on machine reliability, material cost, yield, waste disposal and part quality, 3D Systems RP is very rarely the solution.

3D and Haas are not even in the same league anymore - "Employing more than 1200 people, Haas continues on a substantial growth pattern. The company’s 1-million-square-foot facility in Oxnard, California, is the largest, most modern machine tool manufacturing operation in the United States".

3D wasn't even at Westec this year - clearly a niche player.
