No way to reach 7. The offer is $1 cash and 50% HCII stock $8.25X.50=4.25+1.00=$5.25. In my opinion this is a good deal for TCHC stockholders. Although it holds $7 in cash the mgts are morons as always said by some pissed off stockholders. Right now I am disposing all my holdings at offered price with a loss. If the merger fails TCHC goes back to 3.50 IMHO.
