Not trying to be rude, but so far every person who has posted on this board sounds like they are totally new to stocks/MFs in general. I think it's a good thing that you are investing in funds since professionals *cough* tend to run them. Although they are about as good at predicting the future as anyone else out there.

1st, when in a recession, stocks and funds will go down and the companies will do anything they can to try and stay afloat such as cut dividends, issue more shares, whatever. Be happy you have a dividend at all in these times, and don't worry about the size for now. Everything will be awesome for everyone invested in due SHORT time. Just keep on investing at those low prices and its dollar cost averaging you down in your accounts, etc.
