I am in the process of rolling over my IRA to Vanguard. The CD at the bank is getting a lousy 0.85% interest. I like Vanguard because the fees are low. When I was setting up my Vanguard IRA online, I wasn't sure which fund to pick. I picked VBINX because it has a 60% stock / 40% bond mix. It seems like a fairly safe place to park my money for now. It looks like I can expect at least 2% per year in distributions and dividends. That's more than double what my bank is paying in interest.
Then I started looking at the other Vanguard funds. VBINX doesn't have any international holdings. Now I'm considering switching to VSCGX, VTWNX or VTTVX. These other 3 funds have lower fees too. Any comments? Rating :
