My average price per share was $10.35 or so when I sold for about $10.70.

I have held gnma for years and enjoyed the high yield. But all things come to an end. Watch out or you will get caught when interest rates strat back up, which they eventually will.

Buy low sell high.

Now is high.

Hey Dude, Objective is to make money. Current yield on vanguard gnma is 2.75%. Fund is at all time high. Sell now. wait for the drop. Buy back lower. Pocket the difference. Not much point to hold now with yield so low.

Not much upside left.
Lot of downside coming up.

This fund has a yield of 4.71%, which is excellent. Forget the up and down movement. You can invest your money in a bank and receive .3% or a credit union C.D. at 1.5% or a little more at some other financial institutions. Be happy with the yield!
