There are very few individuals on message boards dealing with mutual funds. Most want action with individual stocks.

Bernanke made a statement today that interest rates will stay low for awhile. Therefore, such funds like these, the NAV should not tank until the ladder part of 2010 or longer?

I have owned many of Vanguard bond funds for years. Some have gone down in NAV, but you get paid monthly with the interest. I buy more shares at lower prices.

Done that with the VWESX, VFIIX, VIPSX, VCITX to name a few. Most, if not all with my IRA for the last 20 years. The slow way to accumulate wealth.

Just don't bet the house on any 1 particular mutual fund holding.
