I don't know about this fund with all of the credit issues swirling around. I'm in it now, but am concerned that it will implode under the weight of credit issuance woes and widening spreads on corp. & junk bonds. USAA needs to have a Treasury fund besides the money market. I'm also into the Short-term bond fund and am staying clear of equities for a while. However, value is starting to appear in small cap stocks so that's the place I might go to next. I would advise staying clear of the International area if this contagion spreads. I believe it will although the dollar will probably be weak for a while to come. So maybe there will be some offset.
