I first invested in this fund in the mid-90's and it did quite well for awhile. Then 2000 hit all of us investors. I moved my money into Vanguard about 2001. (USAA is a good company, but by consolidating my various funds and holdings, I was able to become a Flagship investor at Vanguard, which meant no fees, and no charges for buying or selling.) I did keep my old USAA holdings in a "fake" account on Yahoo, however, and I checked it today. It has lost 56% of what it held before I moved it. That's not good!! I would have lost thousands and thousands of dollars.
