Here it is almost a year later, and its still paying 4%plus and shs have moved. I wonder if its too late to commit more funds to it, as int rates have to increase soon.Still, my USAA GNMA did well so I think I'll switch to ST.

It should not budge in price...its a short term fund...just a step up from a money market. It HAS lost value during the credit market melt down. Hopefully they learned their lesson when they got caught with their pants down holding lots of Enron debt in 2002, and the fund NAV plunged from 10 to 9 overnight(10% of your capital gone forever). A ST Bond fund is SUPPOSED to be stable, more or less. Sometimes I have doubts about the compentence of the fund manager for this fund.

This fund has a nice yield, every month they reinvest for me. The only thing is, and this is a pretty big thing, this thing never budges in price. It's good for me though, a steady 4-6 percent a year around these times and I'm pretty happy.
