TGSMX is supposed to be a short term bond fund, with a duration and weighted average maturity of less than 2 years. But if you look at the annual and semi-annual reports, under schedule of investments, it shows a lot of mortgage pools with long maturities, and only a small amount of short maturity holdings. This can't be what it looks like, but I hesitate to invest until I understand it better. Thanks in advance for anyone who can tell me what I'm missing.
