What a joke. They looked at my case and said that my $40K loss in share value was almost exactly compensated by the interest I had made over the multiple years I held this turd. They basically said the $1K was an act of good will on their part. Sorry, but I was misled on this "investment", and expected more from these people. I had assumed I would do better than break even on a "safe place to park money" when I put money into this fund. I'm not opting out of anything, and I hope Schwab gets reamed in these suits.
