I have a relatively new and small position in LSBRX and am interested to know from some of you who really understand bond funds how you think this fund will fare when inflation kicks in. In looking at several funds, this one clearly has the most dramatic NAV swings. That's concerning.

Also, for some of you nearing or in retirement, is LSBRX a good bond position in your allocation and roughly what percent of your bond holdings do you keep in LSBRX? Any other bond funds you prefer or feel work well with LSBRX?

My investments will be in 401K roll-over, pretax, accounts, and I'm looking for a long-term position in bonds. I appreciate your input.
