He must have, because 6 out of his top 10 holdings are Treasuries. And just those 6 take up 30% of the portfolio. They've been there at least 2 months, so he must've made that call earlier.

He was on CNBC again today. Said he's near- term bullish, but longer-term bear. Believes there will be a near-term bounce, but back down again next year.

Regardless of whether we reach new lows again, this fund will never make me poor. Any idea how old the manager is & if they have a good asst mgr to take over? I've seen good, low-volatility funds like PRWCX get new managers who increased the volatility & the fund got clobbered. Hope that never happens with GLRBX.

Did the manager of this fund make a bullish call on government bonds 4-6 months ago on CNBC? I thought I remembered him doing so, but I would appreciate some clarification if anyone else remembers this. Thanks.

When the S&P 500 was down 42.5% at its low point last week, this fund was down only 13.57%. A better performance in a bear market than OAKBX, PRPFX, and PRWCX. It won't knock the ball out of the park on the way up, but it won't make you poor on the way down.

Made a partial buy last Friday, before the S&P 500 rose 11.58%. Will be adding to this fund at new bottoms.

Only concern is, how long will these managers be around, and when they retire will the fund be as good? I've seen great funds like PRWCX get new management, and they no longer perform the same as they did in previous volatile markets.

This is probably one of my favorite funds plus the manager is Air Froce Academy alumni plus Boston College alumni which I have a great deal of respect for. It is a down market but I am going to stick it out with this baby for the long term.
