I have held this fund a long time and it does throw off some great (but taxable) distributions. But I find that it has been absolutely creamed by every measure against small bap index funds like IJT and IJS. Like all funds, it works well in a growth momentum market But there are cheaper vehicles that do the same thing. When Hennessy is on CNBC he seldom talks about his funds and the talking heads never point out that he doesn't beat the benchmarks.
