I'm sure that the vast majority of shareholders are comfortable and pleased with Steven Romick being a fine custodian of their funds. I certainly feel lucky to have maybe the smartest and most conservative manager in the financial world. He's been a great caretaker who as he says,"waits for the slow pitch".
Do any of you have a recommendation for another really good fund manager with a similar mindset as Romick's? Romick has stated more than once that he assumes that the funds you entrusted to him are ALL your funds so he treats your funds with care.
Over the past 40 years I've had investments with many brokerages and mutual funds. The only one in which I have any confidence in recent times is Romick; but you can't put all your eggs in even his basket. So, who else is out their we can trust?
