I've had this fund for several years..not sure, but maybe about 10. It's been pretty consistent with income. It saved my portfolio (I was margined at the time) in the bear market around 2001 when WorldCom went bust and the market went down. This didn't have as much downside.

There could be better funds in it's class, but I am happy with it. Of course, this fund produces dividends, short and long term capital gains, so it's not really the best for those who want to minimize things of that nature.
